Reverse Macro

I do not own a true macro lens, so today, I thought I would try some reverse macro!  I haven’t done this in a long time, but it was a ton of fun.  I used my 50mm lens mounted backwards on my camera using a reverse macro ring.  I think it got the job done, but I want to try it again using different settings.

  1. Hello there,

This is very clever, I seen a video on YouTube and the guy actually makes a tube with the 50mm on the end so it lengthens it and you get super sharp images; a cheap made macro lens.

I really like these photos and it was a great idea 😀 I don’t have a macro lens either but I picked up some macro filters on eBay, they are handy and cheap to experiment with. Anyway happy sunday 😀
