This weeks challenge was sleep. Talk about a challenge! I knew I wanted to get a pic of my baby sleeping. I also knew that this was going to be hard, and I wasn’t wrong! He is a fairly light sleeper so I knew I would only get a couple pics in before he would wake up. I waited until he had been down for his nap for nearly two hours so he got enough sleep (just in case!) and quietly snuck in and snapped a couple. It was hard to get a desirable angle through the crib, but I loved how this one turned out. It is so him, always with one pacifier in his mouth and one in his hand. He can’t sleep without both. Boy are we in trouble when it’s time to take the pacifier’s away!!
Wow, self portraits are hard! I was running back and forth using the self timer, trying to get something in focus, and that is tiring! Also, I am not used to being in the pictures so I’m extra critical of the outcome. Part of my New Year’s Resolution is to be in more pictures. I want memories of me with my family rather than my family without me, haha! Sometimes, it is hard to relinquish control of my camera, but I will just have to get used to it.
So I have been thinking about trying out Lightroom 3 for a while. I hear such good things about it and I have never even tried it! MCP Actions is giving away this program right now on their blog which is so awesome!
I took Ethan outside the other day for some fun. He is getting so big and I can’t believe how old he looks in these pictures! He is wanting to be so independent that it is hard to keep up with him anymore. He is always getting into trouble, trying to be brave and climbing on things he shouldn’t. How did I get here and where did my little baby go? I can’t believe I have a toddler now, ahhh!
